Combating Phantom Energy

We do not realise that we pay for what we do not use. Even though your electrical appliances and devices like phone chargers and computers are switched off or in the standby mode, it still draws energy and that is the phantom energy. And it will add up and contribute to your electrical bill every month. We can save money and save the environment by eliminating phantom energy.

Here's how:
1. Unplug appliances from the wall socket that is not being used.
2. For convenience sake, plug all devices into a surge protector/power strip and then just unplug that.

* Allowing your computer to sleep and hibernate is the most energy efficient method for saving this resource.
* Screensavers use the same electricity as a computer being used, as the screensaver uses both the GPU and CPU on your computer.

You are Unique!

We are unique beings and that is how God designed each and every one of us. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", each of us has an opinion of how beautiful something or someone looks but the opinion is not to be weighed and concluded as the sole truth.In other words, you may think Mona Lisa is a beautiful picture but i might think it is boring. Ultimately it does not really matter. It's just an opinion.

We are sometimes weakened by people's opinion of how we look. The question to asked ourselves first is "Do I love myself?", the answer should be YES but if it is not,we have to deal with that. Then we need to sift out the right opinions from the nonsense. Taking only the constructive ones and trash the destructive ones because it will do us no good. We do not need to look like someone else in order to be happy good looking. Even the prettiest model can have inferiority complex.

Nevertheless, I believe in being healthy(taking care of our body) and dressing right. So if you work out because you want to stay fit, by all means, go for it. All i can say is love yourself as God loves you.

Little Oasis at Prangin Mall

Little Oasis, The Fusion Kitchen is right in the heart of Prangin Mall, Penang. You can spot it from any escalator at the middle atrium.Anyway its on level 3. The dishes that my friend and I tried was not too bad on an overall critic. The almond fish has a nice creamy taste and the accompaniment of almonds made it taste really good. However, the stuff chicken was rather plain, abit tough on the stuffings and dry on the skin. The set comes with a ice lemon tea and ice cream as well. The set is RM15.90, other sets that consist lamb and salmon would range from RM19.90 to over RM 23. They have japanese and oriental dishes besides western food.
Quite a few tables of foreigners, crowded on a Saturday so I believe there are dishes that are nice to try though my belly couldn't afford it no more. :)
A recommended place to dig your teeth in when you drop in Prangin Mall.This was my very first time.

The Proposal

This movie is hilarious right to the core and the spicy dramatic expressions makes it so enjoyable to watch, I wished there would be a sequel. I think Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds made a great pair in The Proposal.

Sandra Bullock plays Margaret Tate(what a name for Sandra Bullock) a demanding, self-indulgent boss who infact is an insecure lady with a sad childhood history.But that is why she makes a nerve wreck out of every subordinate under her the moment she enters the office. Margaret was about to be deported back to Canada when she came up with the bright idea that puts her assistant Andrew Paxton played by Ryan Reynolds in a fix. He has to marry her if not his career is at stake. I will not go further but let you enjoy what comes next. If you have watched it, you know what I'm talking about. I give this a rating of 10 over 10 for romantic comedy category.

Come back, Green Trees

I took this while on the road at the highway in Penang. So sad to see trees being chopped down. I know they are widening the road but talking about going 'green', this definitely does not complement it. One of our source of oxygen has been excavated from the ground and it's so disheartening to see them gone. Well I hope to see some tree planting soon.I LOVE TREES, I LOVE GREENS!
