Patchi Chocolates

Patchi chocolates has ingredients over 54 fillings and I had my first bite last night, a sweet start of the new year. I had two choices, one with a macadamia right in the middle and the other is crunchy nut sort of chocolate. Chocolate lovers would crave for it, I know I do now as I blog this. Patchi has more than over 140 boutiques in over 35 countries. Gurney Plaza & Christmas

Ho Ho Ho, Christmas is coming to town, almost all retail outlets are decorated with Christmas trees and ornaments, stereo playing Christmas carols, shopping malls filled with Christmas events and that is a glimpse of Christmas drawing near. As you can see, I have the word ‘Christmas’ written 5 times within a sentence. And that’s exactly what we hear, see and feel during this season.
Gurney Plaza has a large crystal ball right outside facing the sea. Within it are the reindeers out of reach. Inside the mall you see snowflakes hanging all over and a stage transformed into a house covered with snow and Santa Claus hovering over the chimney top.

Families, young and old buzzing shopping for Christmas gifts and enjoying the Christmas atmosphere. In Malaysia, half the month of November and whole of December is a school holiday for the school goers, a time to enjoy and relax, regaining new strength for the new year. What do you expect in 2012?

Took this for fun at Level 3, just realised that my notebook has a colour of my name ~ Grace Silver. I would have picked Luxe White Pearl but I didn't have a choice then. Now I know why ! :)

Fashion Galore

How's your shopping for the new year? A change in style, spicing up with bling blings and a big hairdo? I find myself shopping smart for the new year, no longer do I stacked my shoe rack with shoes that I don't really want to wear, I look for good bargains and don't mind waiting for it and I try to have a variety and avoid redundant clothings. Nevertheless my impulsiveness do get into my system once awhile but I'm proud to say so far it was all worth it! Also recently I just cleared out my whole wardrobe, putting them in different categories like:

A: love to wear 

B: just in case I grow bigger?

C: barely touch but love them

D: time to share

The category D were then packed up and shared with those who need a little giving, I believe it will go into good hands.It's truly great blessing to give.

Occasionally we do have to pay for quality goods and you might want to look into the worth of what you pay for. As some of you know, I have an online boutique called Flamingo Flair and we do try my best to price the clothings as what it's worth as well as not overcharging the customers. Recently we had goods from Australia and pre loved branded goods priced at half its original price and I can assure you its high quality stuff.Well,everyone has their unique way of shopping, even the men! Some are so practical, they spend less than half hour in a shopping mall looking for the top they need, some search high and low for the perfect bargain or the perfect match(to their body ofcourse) ,some are just impulsive shoppers, the rest are window shoppers.

How much are you willing to spend for the clothings that suits your taste? What are your criteria in buying a dress, a blouse, pants, skirt etc?

Little Oasis at Prangin Mall

Little Oasis, The Fusion Kitchen is right in the heart of Prangin Mall, Penang. You can spot it from any escalator at the middle atrium.Anyway its on level 3. The dishes that my friend and I tried was not too bad on an overall critic. The almond fish has a nice creamy taste and the accompaniment of almonds made it taste really good. However, the stuff chicken was rather plain, abit tough on the stuffings and dry on the skin. The set comes with a ice lemon tea and ice cream as well. The set is RM15.90, other sets that consist lamb and salmon would range from RM19.90 to over RM 23. They have japanese and oriental dishes besides western food.
Quite a few tables of foreigners, crowded on a Saturday so I believe there are dishes that are nice to try though my belly couldn't afford it no more. :)
A recommended place to dig your teeth in when you drop in Prangin Mall.This was my very first time.

The Golden Triangle - Indochine

The Golden Triangle-Indochine restaurant serves a combination of Thai, Vietnames and Laotian dishes. Situated in KL-Soho, Queensbay and Autocity Penang. Its varieties are abundant and the spices are divine. The chefs are from Thailand, Vietnam and Laos so its sure authentic. You can read more about it RIGHT HERE!

Gurney Plaza Or Queensbay Mall

Which mall in Penang gives you that satisfying, comfortable shopping experience? I know the title says Gurney Plaza or Queensbay Mall, but I'm all ears to hear and all eyes to read about your comments on other malls in Penang.
Queensbay Mall is known to be the largest mall here in Penang while Gurney Plaza is famous for its classiness. The important factor is whether you are able to find what you need at a price you are able to pay in the shortest time. Which mall is the most shopable of all? Mmm..
