Stalker - CBS new series

I thought I would have enough of Criminal Minds but when I heard about Stalker, here we go again.

Stalker is a psychological thriller about this unit in the LAPD that investigates stalking cases. And that includes voyeurism, internet stalking/cyber harassment or romance fixation. Two famous actors Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott is starring in this new series as lead detectives, Maggie Q as the boss Lt. Beth Davis and Dylan McDermott as the newly transfer, Detective Jack Larsen.

Check out trailers, clips and about the stars at CBS-Stalker

I gotta admit what drawn me to the series was first Maggie Q then the storyline. Ever since I did a write up on Nikita, I got to know who she is, as she is expressive and pretty detailed for the things she stands for and etc. Besides the fact that she can really kick butt, she is strong as a woman in the values she believes in. I admire the strenght of women being displayed on tele as well as talks.

Imagine stalking over Facebook,  the drop of hints when someone is looking out at your every post can feel a little weird, and then the admiration begins, they start to do more, invading schedules and the list goes on. It's bad when jealousy is apparent in stalking cases, it could lead to murder depending on the mental state of the person.

This show covers all types of stalking cases, from everyday people to celebrities,  politicians, kids and so on. What's interesting as well are the lives of the detectives.  Lt. Beth has a tragic history of stalker turned murderer in her life and Detective Jack stalks his son who was prevented by the mom from seeing him, the biological father.

Throwing caution to the wind, watching shows like these can sort of educate our mind to be aware of our surrounding and to be vigilant.  Hope to see season 2 of Stalker soon.

Cruelty To Animals

I love animals especially furry animals mainly dogs. I remember saying to someone I love dogs more than people. That might sound extreme but we all have that moment when human beings fail us but animals like dogs only knows how to love and want the same in return. When they turn fierce, its mainly they are reacting in fear. Generally speaking.
It is such a heart wrenching video and this will cause an upheaval to the emotions of animal lovers. How could any living being do such a thing to another living being. Murderers, sadist I would categorize them.

Please watch this video below and also listen to Maggie Q's sharing on her opinions as an animal rights activist.

Nikita (Looks Do Kill)

Nikita is a remake of the classic Le Femme Nikita and the modern day Nikita is starred none other than Maggie Q. She's well known internationally in Hong Kong and in Hollywood starring in movies The Priest, Mission Impossible 3, Die Hard and now is the television series Nikita.

It's a show filled with twists and turns along with cool action moves from Nikita. She was recruited by an underground secret service from the government called Division. Nikita turn rogue against them and had plotted to bring down them down before with the intention that they don't hurt anymore young and innocent lives by turning them into assassins.

There is also a love chemistry between Nikita and Michael who trained her, played by Shane West. In Season 1, you can also see how Nikita and her recruit, Alex played by Lyndsy Fonseca works together as she works from the inside while Nikita accomplishes her missions from the outside.  And I have just finished watching Season 2, well as you know waiting for the upcoming series in Malaysia will take awhile.  I like the suspense and the thrill of figuring out how they mastermind their missions. Not to mention the show displays the strength of a woman like Nikita. It is inspiring to see a woman fight for what she believes and being very decisive of things she knows right. And in spite of the past that she went through all her life, she still has a soft heart that puts others before herself. So with the drama filled with emotions in the midst of action is unique for each episode is like a 1 hour movie in itself.

This is a little snippet of Nikita and the interview with Maggie Q on the Season 2. Maggie Q plays the part so well, kudos to her.

I really hope there is a Season 3 and so forth. Of course more so a happy ending at the Season Finale when there is.
