Idiot, Idiot and Idiot

 THE 3 IDIOTS

You MUST WATCH this movie and anyone who has watched it will probably tell you the same thing. It is an all action packed movie, packed with comedy, tear jerker scenes, moral teachings, educational, laugh out loud(LOL) moments, romance, filial moments and entertainment. The best Bollywood show I've watch so far.
Though the movie trailer might not have subtitles but you might get the idea, well skipped this, go get the movie!

Sorry for the late posting, it should have been posted last year or beginning of this year. But never too late to go get it! "Allz is well" (tapping my chest)

Insane in the membrane, insane in the brain

" Insane in the membrane, insane in the brain" I can't remember where I've gotten this phrase or lyric but it suddenly resurface. Maybe my high school friends might remember. A silly song I think 'cos we are not insane. Never!
Digging through my brain I asked, "where art thou ideas when I need thee?"
It's those one of those times when you need ideas and good thoughts, everything seems blank. Where have my creativity juice flown off?

I pray God will knock the nonsense out of my brain and get it working right and with His help, He will provide. He always does.

Cha Ching Cha Ching

Bright bling blings on a purse, cha ching cha ching sign right on the middle. My friend's purse hailed from Canada shown off during coffee time. Since my camera was with me, just felt like taking a photo of it.

On a day I felt like blogging, I pulled out this picture and thought

"I suppose I could post this up but for what?"

Next moment I found myself in Youtube looking for a song on money and this came out. The mixed version and the acoustic both sounds good. She sings well on key for the acoustic version. The tune is so catchy, it stayed on me for quite awhile..cha ching cha ching, ba bling ba bling......

True, money can't buy you happiness, money is to assist us in life, there are many ways to be happy, don't be obsessed with it, it will ruined you, period!

PS22 Chorus

Just love listening to choirs sounding beautifully something like this children choir and from the looks of their website, obviously they have made a name for themselve with celebrities like Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey and etcetra.

I remembered the choir in high school and how this Sister Getrude was teaching us how to sing and literally putting her two finger in our mouth to make sure we open our mouth wide enough. Sure had a lot of good laughs then.

I enjoyed singing in parts and I have always been alto in any choir performance so far. The acoustic of the hall makes a difference to voices. How it vibrates and resonates with the acoustics . Many years ago, my friends and I joined a group organized by our seniors in school including some of their church friends and we went carolling in different hotels and all we had is one or two guitarist and probably less than 20 of us. Some of the places we went had such nice acoustics, we could even hear ourselve sing and it was great, everyone sang their parts(bass, soprano, tenor, alto) very well. Too bad we didn't do any video recording to keep for memories.

Now, listen to PS22 Chorus sing " Listen To Your Heart" by Roxette famous in the early 90s.

Or visit them at their website to know more at http://ps22chorus.blogspot.com/

Weather Me Mad

Agitation starts caused by the mad heat
*
Over exposure of sunrays halts my brainwave
*
Mercury rising levels up my blood pressure
*
Sleepless nights
*
Skin perpires almost perpetually
*
Rants and murmuring, blaming on the sun
*
When is fresh cool air coming our way again....
                         *
                      Sigh.....stop complaining
                           *
                         Okay!I'm done

My Hoodie

Hoodie is definitely a must in my wardrobe and recently I was given one for an early birthday present. UNIQLO hoodie cuts and UV feature attracted me the moment I laid eyes on it in the newspaper. I picked up my cellphone so fast to get my sister to buy for me in Kuala Lumpur since Penang does not have. In the end it became a gift for me. Thanks cei :)  This is my hoodie!!
The unique feature about its fabric provides you with its high quality premium cotton - Supima cotton. Firstly it is so comfortable, you could sleep being wrapped in that cotton fabric. It also infiltrate the sun UV's ray, 90% protection but it does not replace the use of sunblock or sunscreen. I read this was a proven test method by the Japan Chemical Fibers Association.

Supima is an abbreviation for Superior Pima , a 100% American Pina cotton. If you would like to know the technicality and strip down to exactly what it is all about, please click here WHAT IS SUPIMA?

Uniqlo hoodie is not only great to have, you feel good being in it. An everyday casual wear that you can never be bored of and a great help during summertime or sunny days where Malaysia is concern. I cannot advertise enough for this particular brand hoodie and just for your information, I am not paid to say all this either. First hand experience evokes the production of this blog post. Needless to say more....

Piano Exams On The Way

It is that time of the year again where my students and many other students are having their piano exams.Along comes the butterflies in the stomach and jitters prior to it. All have practice more or less throughout the year  and the duration of the exam takes less than half hour including the wait. As for the lower grades, it is even shorter. Nevertheless, the achievement is what matters, knowing you have the ability to play at your current level.

I can only pray that my students' jitters do not get to them and that they play their best to their ability. My expectation is for them to play their best and nothing less. The exam room seems scary like walking into a doctor's room but be at ease that the examiners are normally compassionate and there will be no sign of negativity in the room. No sighs, no grunts, it is either an encouragement or a respected silence.

I remembered how I went through as a student and the higher the grade the more nervous it was for me. Knowing that I have a mild problem with my fingers getting stiff easily when its cold, I try to wear warmer garments and i wake up early in the morning so that I don't feel rushed. Can you imagine your fingers stiffen as you play those runs and frills. But by God's grace I manage to pull through each time, no matter how many times my fingers stiffens.

We just got to do our best in practicing our hardest and let God handle the rest. So i wish all of you who are taking your piano practical exams the best in all you do. Practice everyday as much as you can with considerably ample rest. Consistency is the key to success and even if you are tight on schedule on some days, a few minutes doing the scales and technical plays will keep your fingers in good condition. Just as runners have to train each day to build up muscles and stamina, so do we as pianist and learners of music.
