Blog Featured

I received an email saying my blog has been featured in this website I was rather surprised that my entry on dog related issues were stumbled upon and gained me that spot to be featured. "Cool!" I exclaimed because it brought more traffics to my blog. My first time being featured anywhere anyway, so not bad at all.

I love dogs so I gotta introduce you Dog Health Problems that will educate many dog keepers how to care for your dog like its your own child. It is not always an easy task to understand an animal's pain when they are sick. When they whimper in discomfort, grit their teeth in pain "How do we tell what is wrong?", "What signs do we look for?", "What medication can we give?", click here for more information
Read the blog post I did in April 2009 titled "Dog Lovers" , to share my love for dogs.

ASS out of U + ME

Online Dictionary defines ASSUME as: To take for granted, or without proof; to suppose as a fact; to suppose or take arbitrarily or tentatively.
I know 'ass' is an indecent word in relation to our human fleshy part that we sit on. But an ass is also an animal a little smaller than horse like a donkey, one that is known for its stupidity and obstinacy.

Have you ever been in a position you think your friend would surely do that something for you,you bet your life on it and the truth hits you in the face when it didn't come true? Have you ever assumed your friend was doing a bad thing, you are so sure you told another friend and turns out its totally untrue?

So to simply put, most of the time when we assume, we make an ass out of ourselves and sometimes in the expense of another person. If we are unsure of someone's actions, we should let it be until truth reveals,don't let it bother our mind for it will become a fact and what we speak out from our mouth are the contents of our heart. You know how gossips can ruin a person? Truth is better than assumption so go for the right one. This statement makes me think twice before i make a judgement out of an assumption. Just my thoughts! Read about Assume HERE. HAHA! Interesting!

Observe the Bird

All I remembered was the first two lines of this poem written by Emily Dickinson. I studied this poem in English Literature class during secondary school. But forgotten a lot on how to interpret poems so I did a little research on it to share it with you. I remembered it was always fascinating how we unravel the thoughts and the intentions of the poet. Read this little poem and see how you feel about it ,then have a look at the links at the end to help you interpret poems if you like.

A bird came down the walk:
He did not know I saw;
He bit an angle-worm in halves
And ate the fellow, raw.

And then he drank a dew
From a convenient grass,
And then hopped sidewise to the wall
To let a beetle pass.

He glanced with rapid eyes
That hurried all abroad,--
They looked like frightened beads, I thought;
He stirred his velvet head

Like one in danger; cautious,
I offered him a crumb,
And he unrolled his feathers
And rowed him softer home

Than oars divide the ocean,
Too silver for a seam,
Or butterflies, off banks of noon,
Leap, splashless, as they swim.
